Located at 2205 Northside Dr NW, Atlanta, GA 30305 is Bobby Jones Golf Course was first opened in Atlanta 1932 to the public and was Atlanta’s very first public golf course. The Golf Course was named in honor of Atlanta’s native and legendary Golfer Robert Tyre Jones Jr A.K.A Bobby Jones, known as one of the greatest Golfer of all time.
Bobby Jones is also known as co-founder of The Masters and a co-founder and designer of Augusta National Golf Club. Jones was also a professional lawyer.
The Golf course was recently redesigned and redeveloped with a reversible nine-hole course, currently one of only two in the U.S.A. The course re-opened in Nov 2018. Brand new facilities added including the 1new Murray Golf House, The Ed Hoard Golf Shop, Dan Yates Putting course and Boone’s Restaurant which overlooks the course. Also added is a new parking deck.
